Most OpenTalk problems have a one-minute fix. Start with the section that matches what you are seeing; if none of it helps, email [email protected] and tell us your device and browser.
The camera or microphone will not turn on
- Tap the little lock or camera symbol beside the opentalk.cam address and switch both camera and microphone to Allow.
- Quit any meeting or streaming app in the background; only one program can use a webcam at once.
- On iPhone, use Safari or add OpenTalk to your home screen; some in-app browsers block the camera.
- Reload the page once permission is granted.
Nobody appears after I press start
Check your connection first; a weak signal can stall matching. Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data often clears it. If you have used your free matches, the screen will tell you and offer coins or the next Reward Center countdown.
Signing in on another device
Guests can chat straight away, but a guest account lives in one browser. Sign in from your profile so your balance, VIP status and follows appear on your next phone or computer too.
Coins, VIP and rewards
- The Reward Center sits at the top of the matching screen. When the countdown ends, tap to claim; the next countdown starts from that moment.
- A top-up that did not arrive usually lands within a few minutes. If it does not, send us the receipt.
- Anyone offering free coins, generators or a modified app is running a scam. We never ask for your password.

Hit the report button wherever it happened, then move on with next. Details on what happens after a report are on the safety page, and the rules themselves are in the community guidelines.
