Who can use OpenTalk

You must be at least 18 and legally able to accept these terms where you live. One person, one account; sharing or selling accounts is not allowed.

What the service is

OpenTalk connects you at random with one other adult for a video, voice or text conversation. Around that core sit a Who's online list, paid private calls, live rooms, profiles with follows and messaging, and translation for typed lines. We add, adjust and occasionally retire features over time.

Coins, VIP and the Reward Center

• Newcomers begin with a few free matches. Whenever the Reward Center countdown on the matching screen expires, another reward (matches or coins) becomes claimable; OpenTalk decides the size and rhythm of these rewards and may tune them.
• Coins keep matching going after free matches are used, and pay for private calls, gifts and some paid or ticketed live rooms.
• A paid call with an empty-ish wallet will not start; you are prompted to add coins beforehand. Every gift needs a confirming tap.
• VIP members carry an optional badge and see member pricing when they buy coins.
• Coins and VIP are digital items that only work inside OpenTalk. You cannot swap them for money or transfer them between accounts.
• Refunds follow the rules of the store or payment provider you used and the law that applies to you.

How you agree to behave

You follow the community guidelines in every match, room and message. You are responsible for what you show, say and type. Recording people without their consent, harassing them, or using OpenTalk to sell, scam or recruit is forbidden.

When we restrict or close accounts

Breaking these terms or the guidelines can lead us to switch off features, pause the account or remove it, without notice when someone could get hurt. Unused coins on an account removed for misconduct are forfeited. Disagree with a decision? Email [email protected] and a human reviews it again.

Limits of our responsibility

The people you meet are strangers, and we cannot promise how any of them will act. OpenTalk is provided as it is; we work to keep it running but cannot guarantee it will never break. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses that come from using it.

Changes to these terms

Any revision moves the Updated date shown above. Keep using OpenTalk after that date and you are agreeing to the revised wording.
